I love music. I love music so much that I can't begin to describe the feelings I get when I see (note i said 'see' not just 'listen') music. But there is a bunch of crap on the radio continuously. However, you find minor stuff every now and then that people will display a genuine talent. What do YOU consider to be talent?

Out of all the notes though I must confess there is only ONE note that strikes me above all else (although the entire song is fantastic) and it occurs at 6 mins and 22 seconds ... I mean the total song itself is amazing but at that one moment is like...climactic bliss. auh! pure genius. The forte and the 'piano' is beautifuly put together.

I almost died when I first heard Cecilia's voice through that. The amount of emotion captured in the voice and the soaring voice over accompaniment. I'm telling you, I almost died. Made me wanna cry =*( I can't remember if i actually did or not. It really captures the intesnse emotion, OH and the soft to hard falsetto! I'm telling you, it was like connecting with the muse. The use of half cadences' on the piano is really good too. There is a moment in the song ...I am not fully aware of the terminology of the piece of it but it's from 3 mins 47 seconds on the video to 4 mins 12 seconds. I ...just can't explain what that piece does to me. She does it again around Five mins...with slight variation and has the full dramatic effect. That piece of song may not be amazng pertaining to notes and the tonality and interval relationship of the notes but...the voice just gets me. I just can't...*sigh*

And that's just the classical, and opera with one modern performance! Share your music! And tell us why it captivates you! I'm curious.

there is talent in all sorts of music. From classical masters, right down to a talented rap artist that can string and rhyme. I'm not talking about the generic type rap artist here - more the early days, when they used their words to voice opinion & views.

I love a simple melody & sometimes there is such beauty in the sheer simplicity of it.
