That's an easy out, to simplpy be dismissive. I don't feel your position is necessarily irrational.

But you don't feel it is completely rational. Someone can't think both are totally rational. There is obviously something about my position that you feel is irrational. Just like I don't find your position totally irrational either.
And i wasn't trying to be dismissive. I just didn't feel like arguing about anything in that post. I'm trying to find common ground here, BTS. ;) I have confidence that I can lure you to the dark side.
"Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence."
Be wary, Burn. There's someone after your soul.

Homerovah, the Dawkins is a very confused contingent. It will find out soon enough.

BTS...
In your conclusions, I follow your logic. It would make sense that there must be some creator of the matter (which of course, fails to explain the existence of the creator itself, but that's besides the point for theists).
But, as soon as you mentioned the Genesis account, you lost me... Why choose Genesis over any other creation myth/holy book? Why do Westerners feel that the existence of the universe points to the existence of their particular god? (leading to Jesus) Why don't you think the creator of the universe was Vishnu, Zeus, or perhaps the Flying Spagetti Monster?
Genesis account? I didn't mention it.
