Up until my twenties whenever I was asked about my families origin I told them that my mom wwas from Jamaica and my father was from Nigeria. How surprised do you think I was when my sister told me my father was Jamaican too? Saying that my family did not talk was an understatement!
Feel better that I have let that out of the bag!

I'm totally mixed. I have got so much going on with family history and origins - very diverse. Got to love it.

My father never talked about anything as well. I'm still learning things about his family, usually from other people. Maybe why I've never felt particularly close to him.

My father was from Sector 7 and mother hailed from Sector 113.
