Disclosure: I'm an Eastwood fan. I like him as a Director and as an Actor. He rarely makes a film that I don't like, and from what I can gather from interviews, he is a decent human being.

I haven't seen The Changeling, but I'm looking forward to Gran Torino, his upcoming film.

Unforgiven is my all-time favorite movie. "Anyone who don't want to get killed best clear out the back." Love it.

I enjoyed his comments regarding Spike Lee and also his comments on politics. He is a class act.

I've seen it more than a dozen times. It's one of those that I cannot flip past, if I come across it on the TV.

    "Take a drink kid."

"It don't seem real. I ain't gonna never breath again, ever. Now he's dead, and the other one, too. All on account of pulling a trigger."

"It's a helluva thing, killing a man. You take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have."

"Yeah, well I guess they had it coming."

"We all got it coming, kid."

I'm OK w/ his acting, and directing, but he sure is a philandering bastard. 7 kids, five different women, wives he admittedly cheated on, getting other women knocked up in the process. I like film, and I like the NBA. And I hold people in both to the same standards.

I do like his comments on Spike. Spike is an asshole.

Point well taken. "Class act" would not apply to that behavior.

Wow, I agree with Avi. I really like his movies, but he's kind of a scumbag. Have you guys seen "In the Line of Fire"? Awesome. Not to mention all the late '60's westerns, which I love.

In the Line of Fire was great.

Hmm. Scumbag might be a little harsh. Let's reserve that title for some of his peers.

I did say kind of. But look his being kind of a scumbag doesn't take away from his extreme cinematic talent.
