If I recall correctly, Fred Franz tried to change the 1975 date to 1974 sometime in the early 70's. Something about the chronology being off by one year. Knorr rejected it, and it stayed as 1975. Ray pointed this out in COC.

Yes civics I think your ight....originally in the late 1950's Watchtower Q.F.R article he said 1974,then his book said 1975 but later after more revision he wanted to change it back and Knor was not impressed since they were pushing 1975 for so long...made them all look like Jackasses.
