When it comes to Heavy, this lot makes a few others look positively lightweight .....perfect for blowing away the cobwebs of the mind and letting all emotions go to wall......

Dire Straights BROTHERS IN ARMS
Cool, Stilla, thanks for bringing the thread back. I will listen to the Dire Strait song now.
This is for NINJA, by request:
Feeder - Just A Day
Blues Brothers, I like Hells Bells, too. It played on my car radio when I was lost, late at night after 14 hours driving, in the Yale University Campus. The gothic buildings, darkness, fear of being lost in a strange city and song were like a music video. I will never forget that experience.
The entire Alice Cooper's Love It To Death LP is kick a$$. I cannot believe it wasn't his most popular LP. It got me through a very sad winter when I was 13, way back in 71-72.
Here is Second Coming/Ballad of Dwight Fry-Alice Cooper

YW, Ninja.
This Is War! by Ben Kweller
This isn't kick ass like Dazed and Confused by Led Zeppelin, but its own way, it kickes booty.
How could I forget Deja Voodoo by Kenny Wayne Shepherd? Got to hear him play this live in 2005. This is a bit speeded up. The CD version is very sexy and kick ass.
Even R.E.M. had a kick ass song:
The End of the World As We Know It
