Wimps in the new system...

I've been thinking of the trials we go through day to day, big or small. We learn and grow from them.

In the perfect, no hard lessons learned paradise, how are people expected to learn life lessons?

I see an earthful of wimps, spineless, and braindead people because of the lack of challenges and exercise of thinking ability.

Those "stars" of the congregations are supposed to represent god on earth in the new order.

No thinking, no challenges, nothing from which to learn a blessed thing!

Oh, come on you guys. Don't you think that this is a good point? What are your views?

I've been thinking about this for too long now to just let it go.

Don't you think that if there are no challenges and mistakes made in the new order, that people would never learn?

How does a perfect being learn if they make no mistakes?

I don't believe in a paradise earth anymore, by the way.

Those are things that began to trouble me as I thought long and hard about living forever with some at the KH.

We humans have boundless curiosity; to stifle that is an egregious thing. I believe in God, and I believe that He holds our future in His hands. Only good can come from that.

What does the above picture have to do with anything? Nothing, except the lovely couple and white dove look arresting, don't you think?

It seems to me that most religions, Jws included, are conditioning mechanisms, as is the educational system. People are expected to be absorbent sponges and just regurgitate what has been given, rather than to explore and question. Good grades depend on repeating back the "right answers." KH status depends on repeating back the "right answers". The ones that dare to question seem to rock the boat and bring shame and destruction on themselves. (Think of Galileo and how he was tormented, ridiculed, and "Df'd" for postulating that the world is round.)

People want to be accepted and going against the norm and the majority takes courage and giving up the comfort of complacency.

I think this is why the 144,000 will present themselves as "Teachers" and it will be accepted that they are the "enlightened ones" the "shining ones" and they will be able to dictate whatever new concepts need to be implemented to control people.

As more people become aware that they have been deceived by the lies of religions, there is a need for a new system to control the masses. Religion is loosing it's grip.I think the dumbing-down has affected not only self esteem, but reasoning capabilities. It is the conditioning of not accepting anything until it has the seal of approval from some "higher authority" that keeps mankind in subjection and in slavery.

Some people don't seem to know what to do with themselves and need someone to tell them what to do. Perhaps this is why some people respond positively to regiment and ritual.

I see the new order as being the same as the old order. There will still be a system of some "higher authority" telling you what to do and think. It will still make the population dependent on someone else's view of what is acceptable. I expect that the new system will just be a change in the manner of coersion and the techniques of control.

    Sylvia,

    That picture is beautiful!

Yes, the new system as the WT teaches it doesn't add up.

Good point! In fact, you can see that already in a small scale what their world would be like with WTBS being full of spinless pussies already, who never have courage to say into someone face what they think of them but happily go around to smear someone's good name. Mind you, I think in the end they would destroy that "paradise" if they ever achieved it, with lack of other external "enemies" they would turn against each other; and you already see that in congregation all over the world.

Funnily enough you hear of "spiritually strong congregations" only in war-tron places or places facing some other prolonged hardship or disaster i.e. facing something else that brings them together. But moment those things are removed you see return to backstabbing, smear campaigns, "witch hunting", with a chronic lack of any sense of responsibility about the way your actions and things you say affect other people around you including your own family.
