In fact, several boards opened from this one at the time they announced its closing. Once again, for the benefit of anyone that has not heard of it or anyone that is lurking (but will not be able to join because it is already closed to newbies), the lead board is www.jwsupportforum.com . That board is the most similar to this one in terms of conditions and rules, and the security issues were long ago resolved (it was the popups, and they were eliminated within the first week). That board has quite a few posters from this site, and I recommend it.
You can probably find a few others, and in fact I have one bookmarked to monitor it. Unfortunately, some of them are getting next to nothing--one of them, about 2 months old, has a whopping 160 total posts! I think JWS is going to be the closest to this one.
