I find that many jws hate in a general sense; they "hate" worldly people but not their own relatives. Put a name and a face to the object of hate and many back off. They walk on both sides of the issue which is what they are trained to do by the WTS.

I don't have the article handy, but in the 1950's, in the WT, they published an article about how wicked all of us are, as well as breathing fire and death to the world. They were actually bemoaning the fact that they didn't have the right to kill all non-believers right then on the spot.
How they thought they were going to do this I don't know. They don't have guns, we do. They're outnumbered over 1,000 to one. It's well worth reading that article.
