I know in the past that Michael McDonald has been listed as a JW. In fact, I thought that was the case for a number of years.
He just sang America the Beautiful on TV prior to the Obama nomination and has a no-no beard and longer than "acceptable" hair.
What's going on?

I know many here have listed him as a JW in the "who are famous JWs" threads.
I was having a problem searchng for one of those threads but I'm sure many here can help.
As I recall, he became a JW back in the late 80's or early 90's after leaving the Doobie Brothers.

I never heard that either.... I knew a Michael McDonald in Florida...but he wasn't a singer...

Michael McDonald isn't on the list. He wouldn't agree with "what a fool believes".
