One of the strangest things we have here, on a regular basis, are "Sea Gulls".
Every year, like clockwork, a large flock of them will appear in November. I have no idea why, I am in Southern Indiana, hundreds of miles from the ocean.
They always show up in the Wal-Mart parking lot . They stay for a few weeks and then are gone till next year.
Anyone got a clue...??? We don't have any major bodies of water in that area... miles from the Ohio River...

I am sad that the prairie dogs were killed...Quandry
It was sad...to this day there has been no development in the area of the prarie dog town. Most of the folks that lived in that part of town were not happy...seems the prarie dogs had been there over sixty years...they were a city icon...but the city council didn't see it that way...

I got to see prairie dogs in a zoo setting, they were adorable. Such a shame to get rid of them for no apparent reason.
