  In fact there had been a technical difference between the "time of the end -1799" "Christ's invisible presence - 1874" and the "kingdom- 1914 equivalent to what we now call Armageddon" but the reader of the Watchtower of 1973 would not know that. The implication, in fact a duplicitous slanting of the truth tells the reader that they foretold his return in 1914 as they now believe - but they did not..
