I hope you enjoy it! I've never served on a real jury, although sadly I would probably get scratched anyway if I got called. I've been through several trials though, I still think it's exciting.

I think it is $10/day here and no, my employer does not pay any benefits...no insurance, no vacation, no sick time... I am strictly commission (making nothing while sitting here on JWD...lol)
I got a notice in 2006, but was going to be out of the country twice during the time frame.... took them another 2 years to get to me again...this time, I had to check on line...after the 2nd day, I was excused without ever having to go to the county courthouse...

Update on my jury duty......... I had to check today to see if they wanted me to report tomorrow...Wed. July 16. Nope.....they told me I did not need to report. Oh well! HappyDad
