Smaller congregations are better?

    Interesting that Acts 1:15 mentions 120 gathered together in the upper room - that might be the 'Scriptural basis' for the 120 figure....(?)

    In the Seattle area, I know of 4 congregations that were merged into 2 because they were tooooo small.

    Where was that?

    North Park and Ballard merged, and South Everett and Silver Lake merged. There are probably more. I think North and South Lynnwood are going to merge too. (rumor)

    Both congregations I've belonged to were about 50 pubs at any given time. Whenever I'd see Society material showing much larger Kingdom Halls, my thoughts were always that those congs must have a lot of elders.

    Ever look in the Yearbooks at some of the Branches that have almost no pubs? I remember seeing various islands and other really remote places that had like 4-10 pubs and 1 cong. I've always wondered what that's like.
