It's up to your conscience

    From a belief perspective, if a person undertakes a study of the Bible and makes a genuine attempt to determine Gods will and does what he feels is correct...that is it. It is not for anyone to condemn him. He maybe wrong but it is between him and God. That is what I consider maturity to be. The WTS keeps its followers as children who do not have the confidence to make a decision of their own without reference to the WTS publications.

    ISP, Your thinking is excellent. Why then did none of us follow this line with JW authorities? Why didn't we just say, "I'm sorry so & so, but I feel this or that course is right by Jehovah". e.g. celebrating birthdays for example. You almost make me think that we are partly to blame for letting them dictate to us the way they did.
