Anyway, how long can a church keep its people on edge for the end of the world, when it doesn't seem to happen?

As long as people are willing to donate enough money to keep it profitable. Why stop selling if people are still buying enough to keep the the cash flowing?

Thanks for the citations. Didn't know much of this.

In Christian prophecy, when Gog comes down upon Jerusalem in the battle of Armegeddon, God will raise up two prophets—two, dare I say it, witnesses—who will perform miraculous events. Since JWs don't believe in the prophecies of Israel's restoration and it becoming a nation (despite the overwhelming coincidence that it did), what do they make of the two prophets? If they wouldn't minister in Jerusalem, where would they appear?

It seems that they put all their eggs in one basket several times, lost face, regrouped, then kept making the same error over and over.

Also regarding prophecy, do the JWs believe their organization is the one described in Daniel 2? The kingdom that would never be destroyed?

I had some relatives who were JWs, and as their health declined, two things happened. They became more religious and also, it was very apparent that they feared death.

The ressurection 'hope' that the witnesses have is very hollow. Due to its fantasy nature its interesting to talk about this great resurection the will bring back our dead loved one(or the witness himself.) The reality when faced with the true mortality of life is very empty for dub's.

I believe the reason for this is the fact that most witnesses have not truly lived and experienced life. They have served an organization that claims to represent God. It doesn't help that this organization loads them down with many unnecesary burden's and puts pressure on the individuales concience, when they dont meet these unrealistic expectations.

Not exactly. They believe their organization is an extension of the kingdom. To them, the kingdom is the heavenly part of "God's organization", and the WT Society is the earthly part.
