Excellent post Susan. I've decided not to watch the movie--just read the historical records which will likely be more accurate and less biased. I know from personal experience how information can be twisted (my own family members)--how much more so by movie makers 150 years later.
That aside--I still find it difficult to understand how a church group can state so adamantly that God used Joseph Smith to write another testimony of Christ, a man who came to have 33 wives--many of them as young as 14. We have two young Mormon girls who stop by to see Clyde and me and are trying to convince us that the Book of Mormon is from God.
