Witnesses at my door while I was posting to JWD....blech!!!

  I just DIDNT have the stomach for their drivel....never saw these two sisters before either. She opened with "we are just going door to door talking to people about how we are using up the earths resources...." Ha!! So now the BS and the GAS issue are gonna be their pick up line??? Yep you are wasting resources sistah....DRIVING ALL FRICKIN DAY FOR NOTHING!

  But I stopped her in her tracks...I said "I wont waste your time..my husband is a JW and Im an EX JW."

  "Oh does he go to the hall here?" (right behind my house)

  "No...he doesnt go to meetings very often."

  ""Well thank you for the information." She said as she was turning her back on me to make a hasty retreat.

  Im so tempted when they come to the door, and I get them alot since Im next to the hall, to let em have it...but these people are not at fault. And I have compassion for their situation. They arent the Borg they are only the drones for the Borg as we all were.

  It isn't easy. Half the time they don't want to talk anyway, they just want to make their presentation, be rejected and find every other door unanswered for the day. I keep it simple and polite: "My mother became a Jehovahs Witness, and it destroyed her life and tore our family apart." It happens to be true.

  Sass...yep...it blewe up my family too as effectively as a quarter stick in a frog. Not only are half of my inlaws JWs but my mother in law was too...so my MIL and I are DAd, her two JW children shun her, one of which is my husband. She is not allowed to see the 5 grand children of her JW daughter. Her second husband is a JW elder and HE is constantly badmouthing his wife their MOTHER to the two adult JW children to endear HIMSELF to them and to make them shun her more if thats possible. Her 35 year old Downs Syndrome daughter who lives with her and the Elder, got baptized and now is being brainwashed into following whatever Elder step dad says to her about what her evil EXJW mother is doing or saying...and the NON JW siblings have decided to SHUN THE SHUNNERS to teach them a lesson about what it feels like to be SHUNNED!

  God...its insane and heart breaking! We are all as divided as parallel lines to each other

  I bet they are glad to find someone to scratch off their list of not at homes. They didn't really want the commitment of studying and having to go out in field circus every week at the same time, no matter what.

  I still find it rather odd that they would be at the door when you are posting. Maybe they should look at the forum so some of them will be posting, too.
