Buddy's reactions to this child are as amazing as the kid himself. And the boy looks like my grandson Julian. Wow. Another Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

Buddy Guy is awesome...you can definitely tell the kid has a lot to learn about the blues, but the technical ability is there.

The kid's great for an 8yo, but a ways to go to be a Buddy Guy!

I was hanging with Buddy's guitar tech when I was covering a concert a few years ago and got to play Buddy's polka dot Strat. Got the used strings of it too.

That's very cool, Seeker. If you watched the whole video, evidently Buddy has a lot of faith in the kid. I am still very blown away by Kenny Wayne Shepherd. If you have an opportunity to see him, don't miss it. We saw him for free two or three summers ago.

Good, not a virtuoso. I would expect that skill from someone twice his age with a couple years of low to moderate practice under his belt.

That's the point though, he's not twice his age.

I was completely amazed! And how precious was he? Going onstage in a suit and tie!

Yes, I noticed Buddy was impressed by his tie as well. And if this kid doesn't fit the definition of virtuoso, I think they must have changed the meaning of the word lately.

    FHN:

I like Kenny Wayne Shepherd very much. Buddy is one of the greatest. I've seen him many times - the first was him opening for Led Zeppelin back in 1971 in NYC.

There are a ton of really fine blues guitarists and a handful of greats. Gary Moore is one of the lesser known but great ones.

    I could go on...
