Armageddon Question

  On one of the You Know threads You Know refuted the oft quipped line here that Jehovah will destroy 99.9% of humans at Armageddon. He said that in actuality the King of the North would be doing the destroying and that Jehovah would be stopping it short before it annihilated all mankind.

  This was news to me.

  My understanding was.

  1. Peace and Security declared
  2. False Religion destroyed
  3. All people forced to worship "the beast", the new world government
  Marked in foreheads and hands
  4. Witnesses refuse
  5. Wild beast goes after witnesses.
  6. Jehovah destroys wild beast and supporters delivering witnesses.

  Never was I taught as a witness that Armageddon would be executed by earthly governments.

  Please correct my thinking where wrong here.

  It looks like our reasonable JW friend disappeared leaving us once again with the trilogy of tripe Fred, NYT and You Know.

  The attack on false religion by the governments will trigger the start of the great tribulation. During that great tribulation many will die. There will be chaos all around, so what "You Know" explained is true. People will turn on people, attacking one another. Jehovah will take care of what is left behind, the governments that will attack his people.
