The phrase "false prophet" is redundant. All prophets are false.

It turns out that the WTS habitually engages in speculation.

Engaging in speculation in itself is excusable, but only to the extent that the speculators make no allusions that what they are putting forth is nothing more than speculation.

But NO! Not the WTS! Their speculation takes on the force of the highest authority--the authority of God himself.

This is the very epitome of PRESUMPTUOUSNESS.

What did Jehovah say about PRESUMPTUOUSNESS?

    Deut 18:20:

"But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die."
