I was in Vancover once, it was beautifull. I went skiing at Whistler and spent the day in Vancover. What city are you talking about?

According to Michael Moore, in "Bowling for Columbine", Canadians do not have the murder rates as American cities do. He says while they have guns, They are not as apt to kill each other with them.

Do you find that to be true?

Perhaps the spill over is coming in from downtown Vancouver, I have some relatives that used to jog daily they quit it was too unsafe. BC is a warmer

place the majority of the time, no doubt this has some bearing on the crime rate. Small town crime doe's seem to be climbing, although 100,000 is a decent size compared

to where I am. Do you have a Casino that has moved in within the past year or so? There popping up a lot in my province.
