I've been a fan of Ozzy for about 10 years. Just bought his new album. Anyone else got it and listened to it yet? What do you think of it?
My fav Oz albums are easily "No Rest for the Wicked" and "Ozmosis".

I don't think I've heard it yet, but I loved listening to him when I was exiting. He's got a really distinctive voice. I remember discovering that actually he was from Black Sabbath and feeling really worried about it remembering the bonfire my parents convinced a bible study to have to get the demons gone - principle fuel was Black Sab albums.
I also saw him perform live at a private gig year before last which was awesome. Lionel Richie, Annie Lennox and Pink were on as well, but Ozzy I think out performed everyone - he has awesome charisma.

I've had the album for quite a while now. There's a couple of good songs on it, but it's definately not his best.
Ozzmosis, No More Tears, and The Ultimate Sin are my favorites from his solo efforts. -
AWAKE&WATCHING
I don't have the CD but have watched some of the videos on You Tube. I love "I Don't Wanna Stop."
Here's one of my favorites from Ozzy - I don't remember which album. The video is hauntingly beautiful.

Crumpet - yeah its his amazing voice that makes him so good...unlike anything else.And the fact that he always believes in a lot of melody in his songs - most heavy bands really fail on that score.
Awake&Watching - yes that is a beautiful song of his. Thanks for posting the vid. He has a similarly beautiful ballad at the end of Ozzmosis called "Old L.A. Tonite". It's a great album...buy it.
