Mr Frass and I are doing our 'gap year' trip to Europe late this year, and just before we head home we're going to see if we can catch the start of the winter season in Zermatt (Switzerland). The week 16-24 November is the last of the cheaper season lift tickets, but as parts of Zermatt are open the whole year around there will be a lot of ground available. There is also the possibility of heading over the mountain to Cervinia and Valtourneche (Italy) or Chamonix.
Thought I'd ask if there were any godzillionaires out there to whom this concept might appeal and float a meetup in the area.
The 2007 Apostaski didn't get off the ground; I didn't hear back from those interested, and then I forgot. pm me if you're interested in a weekend in Thredbo or Perisher this year.
