Ran across these two verses recently at a meeting and wondered if any of you seen anything of the Witnesses in either of these two verses?

Isaiah 58:7,10 (7) Is it not the dividing of your bread out to the hungry onek and that you should bring the afflicted, homeless people into [your] house That in case you should see someone naked, you must cover him, and that you should not hide yourself from your own flesh.
    (10) and you will grant to the hungry one your own soul[ful desire], and you will satisy the soul that is being afflicted, your light will also certainly flash up even in the darkness and your gloom will be like midday.

I sure don't see anything that would reflect on the Society, everything but, they don't care about the common man except as a possible study or return visit don't you agree?

You are correct. This is because the WT Society trains its followers to think that the BEST way (and maybe the only real way) to show love for your neighbor is to give hope of everlasting life (by directing them to the organization that they view as the "ark of salvation").

There is little or no attention given to the real, current material needs of neighbors. The WTS has no charities and would not tolerate such within their organization.

They even apply the verse about "doing good works to the least of these my brothers (Matt. 25)" as to the anointed class among JW's, rather than to the least ones among mankind. They want all attention directed to themselves, rather than truly being liberal in sharing.

They are a magazine publishing company. What do you expect.
