I will tell my son the truth in age appropiate words. From the moment she found out I was pregnant she was determined to make him a JW. I took a hard line early on and told her she will never witness to my son or take him to the KH. She went behind my back while I was on a business trip and took him to the KH. She did not see him again for months until she promised me it would never happen again. She finally agreed but her access is still supervised. I have noticed she seems to have less and less interest in him since she can't take him to KH and she cannot get my sons dad to bend on that subject.
