If Possible - That UN Letter Needs Distribution

  It would be cool if you could meet up with us at the apostofest in Toronto, Hawk. Its interesting to put faces to the names, and it is nice to be able to be able to discuss things freely on a level everyone understands.

  Are you saying you never were a Witness, or just are not presently one? Canada is such a small place in the 'truth' and most of us are connected by aquaintances in common, so I can only say I am in southern Ontario.

  Thanks for the info Wendy. I think a printout of the letter is sufficient for me. If it is not adequate for someone along with all the other documents, then nothing will convince such people.

  Well Hawk, I am facinated at the efforts you have gone to with this UN affair. You must have people close to you that were Witnesses.

  I can honestly say, that for me personally that I consider this to be a most blatant and hypocritical sell-out of their own members and an evidence of their desperation to hold onto their power and gain respect on the world scene.

  I think this issue is unlike any others relating to Witnesses, and the reality of it should trouble their most loyal members. It is these members that appreciate the hypocrisy of the scandal.

  It is the letter you pushed for that ties this whole affair together with clarity, and that is something to be proud of.

  i gave that letter to my wife to read.

  as alll good die hard dubs do....she tore it up and said, so? are you satisfied?

  Zev, don't think she will forget what she read.

  I think much depends on an individual's personality as to how much these things affect them and how long it takes to sink in. I doubt for the majority, this issue will send them packing their bags to leave the 'truth'.

  I think my strategy is to wear them down enough to agree to read COC, and at that point, these things act like a confirmation of what they have read.

  Anyway, best of luck.
