    Hi,
This touches me every time I watch it.

    John 1:12 (New International Version)
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

    All the best,

I don't have sound on my pee cee at work - pfft!!!

I was talking to a collegue who happens to be studying with the JWs and she kept saying that I was one person up against a whole organisation that has teams of researches....I simply told her Jesus was up against something similar in his day - "oh but he's the son of God Louise"......""and I am a daughter of God"" I responded - she didn't get it.

    God is in everyone!

The WTBTS convince you it belongs to them and continue to feast on you and your family as long as your mind is fixed on their hypnotic all seeeing eye! They wish you and your family to keep giving themselves to those at the top of their pyramid! Maybe so it can pay for a tombstone similar to the one on the grave of their founder -Russell? Probably they'd aspire to ones of the Ancient Egyptians except they'd need more slaves than they have already to fund it!

The WTBTS steal God from people and ones they reject they brainwash with an idea that God has deserted them!

They cloth themselves, the wild beast like wolf, with the lambs all around them as they keep trying to increase their flock before fleecing them!

What exactly is god anyway and why should we care?

The main reason you should care is that too many people think God is not in you and try to convince themselves and others that unless you follow their God, whom they think is somewhere else, you are a potential enemy in this life and the next!

    Hi LouBelle,
"I was talking to a collegue who happens to be studying with the JWs and she kept saying that I was one person up against a whole organisation that has teams of researches....I simply told her Jesus was up against something similar in his day - "oh but he's the son of God Louise"......""and I am a daughter of God"" I responded - she didn't get it."

Great point! Yes they still aren't getting the point, is that Jesus is God and so a whole world or researches or Pharisees cannot get anywhere close to His knowledge or wisdom.

    Hi R.Crusoe,
    Thanks for the post.

    "God is in everyone!"

I beg to differ. Consider these this verse.

    Romans 8:9 (New International Version)
You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

So both sentences as "if" and are conditional. I believe the Bible and it says if you have faith in Christ, He will live in you i.e. The Spirit of God/Christ.

BTW we have the Trinity in this one verse, Father, Christ and the Holy Spirit, one and the same.

    Regards,
    Stephen

Here's my version (well actually from Jhuger.com)

I dreamed I had an interview with God.

"So you would like to interview me?" God asked.

"If you have the time" I said.

God smiled. "We have until your alarm clock rings.
What questions do you have in mind for me?"

"What surprises you most about humankind?"

    God answered...
"That by worrying about the afterlife,
they throw away their one real life,
sometimes literally by trusting prayer instead of medicine,
or flying a plane into a building full of infidels."

"That with thousands dead from an 'Act of God',
they flock to churches like flies to a bloated corpse."

"That with all their fantastic science,
and libraries full of great literature
they still think glurge like this is profound"

    God's hand took mine
and we were silent for a while.

    And then I asked...
"As a parent, what are some of life's lessons
you want your children to learn?"

"To learn that to make someone love you,
make them feel guilty for your sacrifices.
    and if that doesn't work,
    make their life hell."

"To learn to forgive by killing your own son,
but don't forget to blame the Jews."

"To learn that it only takes a few seconds
    to kill those you love,
but three days to bring them back."

"To learn that a rich person
is not one who works hard,
but one who knows how to make a buck
off of cheap sentimentality like this."

"To learn that there are people
who say they love you dearly,
but really hope you burn in hell
because you have more sex than they do."

"To learn that two people can
    look at the same thing
    and see it differently,
    but it takes religion
to make that into a long bloody war."

"To learn that it is not enough that they
    forgive one another;
they must get a priest to do it."

"Thank you for your time," I said humbly.

    "Is there anything else
you would like your children to know?"

    God smiled and said,
"Just know that I am ... only a dream."
