Absolutely because they give you this detachment from God by telling you it has to go Jesus post which has you talking indirectly to God in your head which effectively alienates your emotional bond away from God. Eventually you may overcome it but only when you talk direct to Him.
Also I was unbreably unhappy in my personal life and felt so low I was just always feeling an unending silent stress.
