    There's been two recently.

I'm in Wales, and if I were a whinger I'd consider the Pot Noodle ads offensive. I don't however. So is it that the religious are more easily offended, do they have a point, should they just accept being made fun of like other groups?

    Has a line been crossed?

I think Dawkins had it right when he described a "sacred cow" syndrome that causes some religious people to take their beliefs and their dieties so seriously that they feel that those should be virtually untouchable by others who do not share those beliefs/dieties.

I also think that in our cultural uber-consciousness of political correctness, that some people are extremely quick to take offense where none was intended, just to inflict guilt trips on those who try their best to be respectful of all different viewpoints.

    PS.... no offense...

How thin skinned can they be? They need to get over themselves. What's next someone bombing the Coke headquarters over this?

Notice that you don't hear the Satanists whining every time a Christian symbol is displayed.

And with even more potential to offend the religious.....

I am a Christian, but I think the baby Jesus throwing the gift back is funny.

Scully made a good point too and that is Christians should not expect non-believers to put our God on a pedestal and exact importance to him like we do. We really do need to get thicker skin when someone is obviously making a joke. Peace, Lilly

    What Lily said!

I thought the nativity scene was hilarious - for crying out loud, that's what babies do with stuff in their cribs/cots lol!

And on other 'blasphemous' ads - well God's big enough to look after Himself so if it's ok with Him for now, then it's ok with me
