    Hi All,

I was just thinking about the Hebrew writtings and what they expected from God as a reward for faithfullness. I just can't remember what they expected except a person called a messiah who would save the Jews from earthly bondage. Was there any hope of heavenly life or everlasting life on earth? My mind is not working very good these days, so any help would be appreciated.

Orthodox Jews look forward to Messiah, and Olam Ha Ba, the world to come. They expect Messiah to be a real person who accomplishes specific things. They also look forward to a resurrection. Try clicking on this http://www.torah.org to see what Jews believe.
