LATEST OFFICIAL WORLDWIDE REPORT ON JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES - WHERE IS IT?!

  By this time of the year, the previous year's worldwide preaching activity of Jehovah's Witnesses has usually already been published in The Watchtower magazine. For decades, the January 1st edition detailed the wordlwide activity, country by country. Two years ago, the annual report was shifted to the February 1st edition of The Watchtower.

  Earlier this year, the Watchtower Society notified congregations that The Watchtower magazine would no longer include the annual activity report, but that this could still be found in the Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses and, starting in 2008, also be included as an insert in the Our Kingdom Ministry.

  Sooooooo, feeling just a little "cut off" from the latest developments, I ask:

  Has the Yearbook for 2008 been "released" yet? If so, can some helpful person scan it for our perusal? Many thanks if you can help!

  I wonder why they have taken it out of the WT. is there something that they are not too proud of ?

  Here's why they must phase out the statistics: although they are still growing world-wide, it is mostly in poor third-world countries.

  Meanwhile, they are slowly losing Europe - and other advanced nations. The US will report increases for years to come because

  of immigration.

  The steadyily increasing number of Partakers at the "Reject Jesus" ritual is a big embarrassment. Especially as they were saying at A$$emblies that the dwindling numbers of annointed proved the nearness of Armageddy.

  Bet this is why they changed the 1935 cut off last May.

  these are the peak pubs figures from 1980-2007 for the UK to my estimation.

  Interesting to note the sharp decline after the 1996 generation mags.

  They have baptized 57997 since 1991 when there were 125836 pubs. should add up to 183833.

  active pubs average 2007 122411. 60odd thousand missing in the UK. that's a lot missing those meetings.
