Here is what will happen...
The average IQ of the typical JW will continue to plummet.
Only those without internet access, or without an active and curious mind will join the rank and file.
Look around your congregation if you're a lurker...or a current JW Freedom Fighter ("apostate").
Would you not agree that the dumb-ass to regular person ratio is shockingly high compared to the dumb-ass to regular person ratio of even ten years ago?
The congregations are filled with insecure power hungry jerks, or complete retards (no offense to real retarded people).
In educated lands the numbers will continue to be flat - in fact you will start to see some declines.
In the Oracle's neck of the woods the declines will be dramatic.

In the next 20 years, the Watchtower Society is going to be the type of place I would be afraid to be in. It will resemble a prison state, where the people are supposed to be out in field circus every damn second of the day and well into the night. Meal time will be 15 minutes before the next meeting at the Kingdumb Hell for regrouping. It will be strictly supervised--anyone taking coffee breaks (if coffee is still allowed) will be embarrassed at the next boasting session and hounded on the spot. If anyone says something that is not in the Kingdumb Misery or Kool-Aid Puketower in field circus, they are going to hear about it.
Escape will be impossible. There will be those assigned to keep tabs on everyone to the extent that, if anyone misses one meeting or goes to a congregation to which they are not assigned without first registering with the home congregation, they will be hounded and harassed. Someone might even physically call on such people before the boasting session. And, that's if they are allowed to head in from field circus ahead of time to prepare for the boasting session--more likely, they will have arrangements for going directly from field circus to the boasting sessions and back out in field circus or to write letters in the Kingdumb Hells. They might even install showers in the Kingdumb Hells so they won't even have to go home to change and shower, allowing them to not come back.
Information will be a closed loop. The computers will be banned. People will not be allowed in book stores, except to place litter-ature with customers (and then browsing through books will be stealing from Jehovah). People will not be allowed to work, except maybe at menial jobs that allow no access to computers. Communication with worldly people will be limited to trying to get them into the organization, and if they fail, they will be hounded (or if they use wording that the Watchtower Society did not specifically authorize). Only material from the Witch Power Libel and Crap Society will be permitted.
And, when whole congregations stop enforcing these rules, the hounder hounders will step in. They will hound and harass the hounders that allowed this lapse, even tightening things all the worse. They will remove hounders that do not hound people to do all the above or that allow coffee breaks, people that go in early, or are lax about missing meetings. Those who are going to strictly enforce those rules will be implemented in those positions, and anyone that disobeys will be physically held in a closed loop without any means of escape.
This is how it's going to be at the rate they are going. People will be forced out in field circus and beaten up for not placing record levels of litter-ature and starting record numbers of Bible (??) studies. Never mind the tide of pedophile reports shading to other abuse reports on mainstream sources like the Evening News. Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead! If you get hurt, killed, or suffer even more devastating loss of status, we don't care. Just do it. Business as usual.
