I wouldn't say that jws follow lot's example in that context, I am sure, some really sick ones do, but not the majority. I think they more follow his example in being willing to sacrifice their children for "god" in a heartbeat. Nothing comes before their faith, not even their own flesh and blood.

I never understood why he would give his daughters to save the supposedly angels of God. Why didn't God do his part and protect his agents? Doesn't make sense to me. Well maybe, since God likes people to sacrifice to him, even his own son according to bible legend.

Yes God should have turned him into a pillar of salt for doing such a thing never mind his wife. Also WTF is he doing suggesting giving one of his daughters just to save the two angels in that other incident? Yet this individual is described as 'righteous' in bible?!?!
