(1) They changed the melody! I am reading the music, and the melody was NOT that way in either the 1966 or 1984 songbooks. (They had to eliminate some of the songs that weren't exactly "original!!)
(2) LOL at Leolaia for sussing out that the WTS songwriter may have borrowed "supernal" from a Christmas song.
If only people realized what it meant for theocracy to increase. It means having God taking more control of our lives. It also means having less freedom ourselves. And, any time you decrease freedom, you increase stagnation. Being told what to do all the time is not freedom. And the more God's government increases, the less freedom you will have because it means having God telling you what to do when you had been deciding yourself.
May God's Theocrapcy decrease to zero and minus infinity!
So the songs are reactive instead of proactive.
For instance, "Loyally Submitting to Theocratic Order" was in reaction to the Bethel debacle during the early 1980's.
