I loved them when I was a teenager and I still love them.
I help organise a charity caberet show and this year we did a version of hung up gimme gimme, complete with abba and madonna, I was annifrid. We came on the stage and "took the song back off Madonna" It was great fun, and went down well with the audience. I'm trying to get it on youtube but can't get it to work...
