Read and post. Get to know people through Private Messages. Be careful about revealing private info until you feel you can really trust a poster.
I think the vast majority here are good folks who are just looking for a place to share, encourage and heal.
Don't get too discouraged if your posts aren't swarmed with replies. It takes a while for people to get to know you and sometimes it's just bad timing. Weekends are usually slower around here. That's a good thing, IMHO. It means these people have LIVES!
