Hi all, Really enjoyed your comments and the up beat of this thread. BB, good points on intelligence, predators, and why we care. Another thing is that species that do care for their young are the ones whose young survive and pass on the genes. So, it's better for the community to be caring.

This thread hits my main motive for leaving. BTW, bboy: You wouldn't be running down the intelligence of non-predators if you'd spent any amount of time with big parrots....
