Fight Watchtower Arrogance Personally!

I recently attended a wedding of two nominal Witnesses
who couldn't use the Kingdom Hall because they were
irregular/in active in field service - although fairly
social in the congregation. Of course, most of the elders
attended and ate their reception food and danced - even
though they weren't 'good enough' to use the hall. In
addition, the father didn't give the bride away or eat
    with everyone celebrating - he's df'd.

I also went to a funeral of somebody that drifted away
years ago - they put on a non denominational service
that was an attempt at kindness in a tragedy. Some
Witnesses present bristled at talk of an immortal soul
and non-Witnesses felt compelled to apologize for the
service, so as not to offend Witness sensibilities.

These things make me angry and disgusted at the endless
arrogance of Witness 'culture' - in effect, getting
everyone else to tolerantly kowtow to THEIR intolerant
wishes. It really shows you how so many 'WORLDLY' people
have become more kind, forgiving, letting the 'spoiled
brats' have their way - while petty theocrats continue
morally frozen in their narrow Taliban culture of
    sectarian separatism.

Interesting post that deserves a second hearing, especially in light of the current "self-righteousness" thread.

It should still be on the first page of active topics. The witnesses are the first to assert their rights to do something yet are so intolerant of any other spiritual version than their own apostate dung.

    Met---wonderful post as usual.

But hey----with due respect for the WTS----It's THEIR religion, and they have the "right" to run it any way they choose! Like the song goes, "What's LOVE got to do with it"?

Annie........who's feeling feisty today because of the evil WTS cult and other mean-spirited bigots who bask in their own nastiness.

    Huh?

Whose money pays for the Kingdom Hall?

Whose efforts spread the virus-like messege of the religion itself?

I'll tell you who: the rank and file membership!

The elders and the Governing Body are an elite group of parasites who suck the lifeforce out of their membership without regard for the contributions made. This elite parasitic tumor thrives because the victims are willing to succumb to the sucking and gnawing due to fear and self-abasement.

The religion is an ebola. The sickness is rampant. The sanction of the victims is the only thing keeping it alive.

    STOP THE MADNESS!

    Terry,

I agree with you 100%! I was being extremely sarcastic in my post.
