So what we have here is what the borg would call, at the time it was written until the middle 90's, "PRESENT TRUTH"

The absolute truth is, truth does not change it is absolute.

My belief is that the borg looks at their thoughts and interpretations as truth when they sould view them as beliefs.

You can change belief you can't change truth.

Oh didn't you know AO, when they say means.. it really is stating, we mean this until "new light" comes along, then we are free to retract anything and everything we say. Yup, I agree, it won't be there next year. I would say this scripture sums it all up nicely.

"I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him

who called you in the grace of Christ,

to a different gospel, which is not another;

but there are some who trouble you

and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven,

preach any other gospel to you

In Bill Cetnar's book, he says that the WT view was that when something "hit the print room", it became "The Truth" !!

I'm sure that there is reference to them actually stating in one of their publications that they "preach a different Gospel"... I'll have to dig it out.
