I have never being on eHarmony but I had nothing but Dating scams on Match.com. So much that I had to finally take my name off of it.

I am on a free site now and I have never had any scams on there.

This is an interesting story and I am glad you saw through the whole thing. For all you know, 'She' may probably be a 'He'. Very sobering! Let the buyer beware.

I give people credit who have the courage and sense of adventure to get involved in internet dating because I would never do it.

It's all good! I just sent a Nigerian scammer 250km to meet me at the airport yesterday. Of course I didn't show up (I missed my plane, heheh). I hope he travelled back home, because I'll be asking him to come pick me up again when I finally arrive tomorrow

LongHairGal, I did the internet dating thing out of curiosity a couple years ago, and you're absolutely right! It certainly IS an adventure. I've met my fair share of lunatics and crazies, but I also met persons who are still my friends to this very day. I had a blast! It's REALLY important to keep your head on though.

Snakes- Hey dude, Mr. Flipper here. Sorry to hear about your ahem, unfortunate experience. Dishonest people certainly can weasel their way in anywhere. That being said, before I met Mrs. Flipper I did go out with a few nice women though through E-harmony. A person has to be choosy though. One woman seemed really nice, early 40's , nice laugh, nice personality, till she tried to drag me to her new age church where they had a rock and roll band singing hail Jesus to the tune of Jesus Christ Superstar type stuff. Everybody was expected to sing. A little too intense for this non-religious guy. I tried to sing , "From House to House ", got drowned out ! Then another lady had a nice attitude, semi attractive, but foundout she didn't like guys shorter than her. I'm 5 ft. 8 inches, she was 5 ft. 9 inches, so that went flat.

But give it time. The right one will show up, in time. E-harmony sent me a lot of matches too, about 30 to 40 at times, and yes you will end up closing some out, just based on how they answer your questions , and their reaction to how you answer their questions. You will see which women match up better as time goes on. It was an interesting experience for me too. I learned a lot about people, the opposite sex, and myself. Learned more fully what I wanted as opposed to what I did not want. But, if you let the process take it's course, time will tell. Keep on smilin' Snakes, good luck, Pm me if ya want sometime, Peace out, Mr. Flipper P.S. I did find my dream woman, you will too, in time.

    So
