No, I'm not recommending this, it's just what it says on one of the

I wonder if they will remove it in light of the September km Question Box
diatribe on bible study, or maybe change it to say "Don't Read God's Word

Notice the sign in the top right of the picture you can just see the start of: "Read the Watchtower and Awake!" It always bothered me that that sign is much higher than the one to read the Bible. Did anyone else notice that?

By "god's word the bible", they really mean the watchliar and acrap magazines, and all the other dribble they print.

I have seen that before, but didn't really think about it's signicance until
your post, although we all know that the magazines, especially the
watchtower, are far more important than the bible itself in wttchtower
land.
Several years before we left the bOrg, I used to comment to Wifey that our use of the Bible had been relagated to 'confirmation of the doctrines in the Watchtower'. Pretty damn insightful for one who stuck around years after that, huh? It's like fly-paper, once you are stuck it is hard to get out.
