I would love to go. It's been a while since I've been there. I've always been fascinated with ancient Egypt (as well as Rome & Greece).

I saw the exhibit. It was extremely well done. The exhibit is set up so well. They manage to get a large number people through it without feeling like you are straining to see or stuck in the crowd. Go for the headphones they are worth the extra money.

I saw the King Tut exhibit last March. It was fascinating.

If you come to Philly after the exhibit closes there are two other places I highly recommend visitinng. The Mutter Museum (http://www.collphyphil.org/mutter.asp) and Eastern State Penitentiary (http://www.easternstate.org/) .

    I saw it.

    But.

They didn't have the main sarcophogus on display.

The one they use to advertise it.

    I felt disappointed about that.

Been to Cairo twice now and to Luxor five times, great place to visit. Trouble is there is too much to see!

Cairo fantastic place to visit, if you go get a good guide to show you around, as not all the stuff is labelled. Cameras are not allowed nowadays :-(.

I went to Cairo museum once a along time ago, i've been fascinated by all things egypt ever since, on one of the digi channels this week they had a couple of days showing the archaeologists still finding mummies etc out there and how they tested them to find out who they were related to etc, amazing stuff.

I thought Tutankhamun's mask was the most beautiful thing i've ever seen i was only 15 but it made such an impression on me. Hmm think i'll go and drool over Brandon Fraser and watch The Mummy now!
