Nope, my birthstone is a diamond. But I like all different kinds of jewels, especially the bright colors like rubies, emeralds, sapphires, etc. These are my first real sapphires. (Honest-I don't own a ton of real jewelry. I only have a few things that are the "real deal", and they've all come from LDB. )

Ya know, they say "Money can't buy happiness."
But that is a load of crap.
I just got this new job which pays pretty well (relatively speaking), and guess what?
I'm happier. I got to buy something that made my wife smile and made her eyes light up.
Being poor sucks. It sucks hard. We were very poor for a very long time.
I don't ever want to be poor again. I like to make my wife's eyes light up. Money isn't bad like the borg says.
Not that we are going off the deep end of consumerism, but damn, despite that old adage, money really did buy me happiness.
Take that wts.
