    All I ever knew from age 5 till I was 48 - so I guess 43 years.

If you count only baptised years - then from 1973 till 2004 = 31 years before I woke up.

(stand corrected changling at 47..) I m just asking to get a clear picture of how many ppl on this site have given what portion of their lives to the religion. Sometimes in reading posts i get the sense that many are in and out in a few yrs like 10-15. But I think the picture is a lot clearer when its 30, 40, or more yrs.(Myself raised init til 31 yrs old when i got myself dfd...My parents from 1967 til today. Its so much to lose for them...)...Thanq

My grandmother came in in the early to mid 1940s. I was born in 1966--and was raised a full-on JW from the beginning. I was baptized in 1983 (at 17), figured it out in 2004 (at 38), and went to my last meeting in May of 2005 (at 39.) Baptized time in: 22 years.
