Member when Moses struck the stone in Horeb, saying he was giving the Nation water?

Guess what?? The Sep 07 Km is the equivalent of that.

They start by saying "Does the FDS "ENDORSE" ie approve. So now any statement as subject of verb means implicitly the mostly white male descendants of Calvinist German immigrants running things from the bunker in NY they are about to flee.

They do not say "some of our brothers" not even "some Christians" have chosen to do do deep research, they actually say:

"Some associated with OUR n.b." OUR(!!)" Organization" have chosen to do deep research.

This is not Jehovah's (or Jesus) organization. It is in the words of Crooklyn Witchtower Babble and Trick:

    "OUR organization"

Moses said he was giving the people water - as do they with their "adungdance" of bible based pubications.

So now they show themselves up. The Kool aid edition just goes along with the words "he is in the interior rooms" ( "follow us an' you kin fin' out de secrets we knows.")

Christ says "do not follow them."

I see your point but I don’t think that OUR is being used in the possessive sense as meaning the GB’s. Hopefully the OUR refers to the worldwide Christian congregation.

Good point hamsterbait. They are always quick to use OT examples to re-enforce their authority, this is an excellent example of them overstepping that authority.

I don't understand how a people that claims to be the only true Christians makes such heavy use of the Old Testament. They are following King David much more closely than Christ, and David was not supposed to even be the Messiah! And his use of initiatory force against the Philistines solely because they were not Jehovah's people makes him a wicked King. Also he was not fully honest, and always tried to weasel out of getting punished (or making true corrections) for sins he committed. Adultery was bad enough--but lying about it? Murdering someone to get out of it amounts to lying about it. Shouldn't that alone have gotten him impeached?

If they do follow the New Testament, they are more following the Pharisees. They bind up heavy loads on the flock. They fleece the flock. The way they handle the money reminds one of the temple changers that Jesus went down so hard on. They are so worried about sacrifice and giving the tenth of things that matter little, that they don't see the bigger picture. In fact, anyone that shows them Ephesians 2:8 and 9 in its proper light is going to be found apostate or result in a "dead call". Woe to you Jehovah's Witlesses--hypocrites!
