Is it possible to make the CDs available for one of our researchers/archivists to pull out some of the best info?

    Hello Lady,

I already did this but it seems to have died out with time. Yes, I can send someone a copy of the CD's so that they can make the data available to others. They are arranged with the messages in folders containing 10K messages each. Then threads are arranged to point to the correct folder and message number so that it seems as if you are online and working in realtime. Seems simple, but 10K blocks of messages will pull down a computer to a crawl if loaded on a HD. Fortunately the system works off the CD roms and is very fast. So I guess it depends on who wants to do the job. My email works ok.

I was Seeker4 on there as well. It was a lot like JWD, and we had some riproaring discussions on there, same as here.

For me, it was a lifesaver.

    Thanks for the link, ozzie.

My daughter found H2O in 1997. At first, we didn't have to register to post, and I posted under more than one name at the beginning. I miss some of the folks from over there.
