I swore terribly as a teen, not a JW then, after baptism I did not swear much, then when I was DF, here came the potty mouth...Reinstated, cleaned up some. Then I was friends with two sisters and we said cuss words sometimes.....hehe Now I swear for emphasis, when I am frustrated, or sometimes when i am driving, oh yeah, mad passionate sex.......(kidding) purps |

But i must say when i used to swear, when i was a dub, i felt very, very guilty about it and was forever praying for help to stop. Didn't work though.

I've never used swear words REGULARLY but as a JW and now, I do let a word slip here and there. That's usually the case when I think something bad is about to happen, like someone about to hit me with their car while i'm driving.

I picked the cussing up when living in house of small flatets, bad language was common, I was out for years then, and I swear really bad especially if something pisses me of, I get angry and find it hard not to cuss.

I did twice .
The first time at school in front of 2 other witness friends and i told a boy to Piss off.
The other time was to my dad and said that i wasn't sitting on my arse...
But now and again it will come out but i do tend to curb it for the sake of my 3 year old.
I work with the public and have to becareful what and how i say things.

well, I don't smoke, don't do drugs, don't drink, don't "fornicate" any longer, I'm on a diet. What's left for me to enjoy? I like to swear. however, I don't have kids and my friends don't either. I agree swearing in front of kids isn't OK.

Always have, and always will. Within reason, ofcourse.
