My ex-wife wanted to get married right out of high school and we did. We had also gone way to far and felt we had to get married. I guess that is why she is my ex now!

I married my hubby because of the way he looks in bike shorts and they way he takes off his motorcycle helmet.
13 years later I still love they way he takes off his helmet.

By why did so many of us feel the need to get married so young?
I wanted to give my parents grandchildren. I am a great person and wanted to CREATE semi-clones of myself.
Many of my friends were dating and fornicatin' so there was peer pressure as well.

First time as a JW: We had already had sex many times. I was 17, he was 23, and he said that in order to right things before God, we needed to get married. Nothing was more important to me than my relationship with God, so I agreed. Plus I thought I loved him. The sex was horrible! I laid there, it was over in about 5 mins. GROSS!
Second time, not a JW: Love.

I read it in the paper that I was "engaged" and that a winter date had been set. Boy was our next date interesting!!! but alas, must have been for the best as we will celebrate our 44th anniversary this coming December. carmel
