Your money AND your LIFE

You may have heard about bandits who waved Watchtowers in their victim's face, demanding: "Your money and your life!" Today, this legendary demand is echoed in a challenging dilemma facing all of us—especially those of us living the JW life. This time, however, it is no bandit that presses the demand. Rather, it is the increased emphasis that the society places on money and material success.

SUCH emphasis has raised a whole new set of issues and concerns. At what cost should money and material things be pursued? Could we be content with less? Are people actually sacrificing "the real life" on the altar of materialism? Is money the ticket to a happy life? Yes indeed friends..the more KHs and branch offices the WTS squeezes out of the Rank and File the happier the elite will be.

Ah but they are using material possessions for the good of winning potential converts. ;)

They talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Why don't they sell off all their assets and distribute the money to their own poor? The early Christians did it. Why not follow that example? Because they are hypocrites. And they have the balls to accuse the Catholic Church of opulence whilst the laity go hungry and yet the CO's last year showed the video of poor JW's building KH's and appealled to the rank and file for money for these poor folks. Why don't they give free? Why don't they help their own out of poverty? Simple.

    These guys are evil.

That's the essence of the issue they admonish the R&F to be non materialistic yet they themselves are very tight and money minded given their reluctance to perform charity works even towards their own loyal members that are in need. That's what gives away the name of the game but the naive dubs can't see this clue as well as many others.

A money minded org wants its followers to be spiritual and materially impoverished.
